Welcome to my website and thanks for stopping by. I want to let you know a little about myself. To start, my name is Charlene Dilzer.

I grew up in a town called, Butler, NJ. Later on following a couple moves in the next town over, we now hit the Bergen county area.I've never stayed too long in one home, but I've always kept my mind running with poetry...thanks tolife being a very long boxing match for me. To get a good glimpse of this life...here I go...I was born on October 26th of 1985, and the youngest of 2 siblings. With an older brother who was constantly making use of his talents, being that I was the baby,I tried to follow what he could do. It didn't take an artistic family to inspire me, just one person that's lead me to discoverwhat god has given me.There was more to me than the crayons, colored pencils, paint sets, markers and the many drawing pads coloring books that I always kept carried by side. Later on when I was 9, there was something that I had focused more attention on. It was poetry. I wrote like there was no tomorrow, never stopping till I konked out. Basically, going on and on of what I felt about what had been going on at the time. This was my scape goat from awful days and traumatizingexperiences ofchildhood.I had no one, but my mom and my paper and pencil to pour my feelings out to. I bonded with the paper, to later on read it to the family, so they could better understand what was poisoning me deep inside. Then, once I had access to a computer...I mailed my work out to all the poetry contests that were out there. Yes, I did win the award of publishment in many booksout there.Thankfully,I neverwas denied. I kept trying and trying for my wish to be heard around the world, and I'm even happier to sayit was. What I wanted mostly was to make a difference in every kid's and teenagers life. I had a dream to stop themfrom destroying their lives, just to rebel to what was going on terribly in their home, or social mileau. The next best thing that passed my mind was to make my own book. I wanted to be an author to make this dream even more possible! I didn'tjust want to be a simple page inanother'sbook. So, what did I do? Well I can tell you I didn't just sit there. I took that phone book, searched that computer on how to do it, made moves, and...IMADE IT!I found this great publishing house, that was to my standards and they told me to send out a manuscript of my book of poems, whichhad to betyped up for them. I WORKED MY BUTT OFF TYPING for that 24/7. I didn't stop till I couldn't see what I was writing anymore. I made it a deadline for myself, so I could get it as fast as I could to there mailbox. The only thing that's inspired me was my dream. Growing up I loved reading autobiographies and bio's, which also inspiredme to write a book. The one book that affected me the most was, "The Diary of Anne Frank." She left a diary behind, and that's what I wanted to do, leaving behind a piece of what was of me. At 19, I was handed the strength from god to publish,"I Guess You Call It Teenage Life." Truly a dream come true. Praisingly my book is for sale all over through the internet and Barnes and Noble stores. My book is especially great for parents to strengthen their relationship with one another in the household.

My book, "I Guess You Call It Teenage Life," is an autobiography of my entire teen life.Listen teens that are reading this now, I wanted to let you know I thought abuot you, and I wanted you all to know that you aren't the only ones who went through it, or are goin through your struggles. I DID TOO! Believe me I did and you'll find out when you read my book.
